What is Flags of Freedom?

The Display of over 1,000 American flags honors important groups: Children who have lost their lives because of neglect and abuse; Military who served and are presently serving; and the First Responders – Firefighters, Police and EMS.

Child Abuse is a serious growing problem affecting more than 3 million of our nation’s children annually and over 6,200 individuals locally. Members of the Jackson Exchange Club wish to bring awareness to this problem by utilizing our flag as the symbol of our nation’s unity.

The Jackson Exchange Club supports child abuse prevention, youth scholarships, patriotism, and other community service projects striving to make Jackson and Madison County a stronger community.

Individual flags can also be purchased at $25 each or a five-flag package for $100.  There are also opportunities for business and individual sponsorships.  Funds raised at this event support the Exchange Club Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse.
